Ann Johnson

Principal IT Helpdesk Specialist at ADTRAN

Ann Johnson has over 20 years of work experience in IT and computer systems support. Ann started their career in 1996 as an Assistant Director of IT/Computer Technician at The Heart Center in Huntsville AL. From 1998 to 2000, they worked as a Staff Analyst at Arinc Inc, where they were responsible for supporting computer systems and software for the US Army's PEO Aviation Division.

In 2000, Ann joined Time Domain as an Applications Trainer for a year before moving on to UAI Inc in 1999, where they worked as a Senior NT Systems Analyst until 2006.

Since 2006, Ann has been working at ADTRAN as a Principal IT Helpdesk Specialist. Their responsibilities include providing support to over 1100 users globally, closing over 350 tickets per month, and conducting various IT duties such as password resets, account onboarding/offboarding, and troubleshooting issues with Office 365. Ann is also skilled in Remedyforce setup and administration, RSA SecurID administration, and Azure and Intune account maintenance. Ann was recognized for their outstanding customer service and received an IT Outstanding Customer Service Award in 2015.

Ann Johnson received their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, where they studied from 1989 to 1994. In addition to their degree, they also hold a certification in IT Information Library Foundations from PeopleCert, which they obtained in May 2016.
