Marshall Johnson

Marshall Johnson serves as the Sr. Director of Global ASIC/FPGA/IP Development at Adtran, overseeing the Atlanta site's ASIC/FPGA initiatives and harmonizing design methodologies across eight global sites. With extensive consulting experience at Coleman Research Group and GLG - Gerson Lehrman Group since 2006, Marshall's prior role as Sr. Director at ADVA Optical Networking underscored a similar focus on ASIC/FPGA development. At Movaz Networks, Marshall directed a team managing a significant budget for FPGA/IP development, transitioning from IT management to delivering multiple projects. Marshall's engineering foundation was established at Scientific Atlanta, where expertise in ASIC design was developed. Educational credentials include a BEE in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a BSNS in Chemistry from Covenant College, along with business training from Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business.
