Sander Jansen

Sander Jansen is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as VP & General Manager of the AIM Business Unit at ADTRAN since January 2023, after a decade in a similar role at ADVA. Jansen has a strong background in product line management, having directed the management team for access products and led initiatives related to market trends and customer alignment. Prior experience includes a technical lead position at Nokia Siemens Networks, focusing on optical components, and a postdoctoral research role at KDDI R&D Labs, specializing in OFDM technology. Jansen's earlier work involved significant research at Siemens AG, where contributions included advancements in ultra long-haul transmission systems and ultrafast optical switching. Jansen holds a PhD in Optical Fiber Based Transmission and Regeneration and a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, both from Eindhoven University of Technology.
