Simon Obermayer

Simon Obermayer currently serves as the Director of Technology Controlling and FP&A at Adtran, heading global technology and operations controlling for the Adtran Holdings group since March 2022. Prior to this role, Simon was involved with ADVA for over a decade, serving as the Manager of Technology Controlling, where responsibilities included overseeing CTO and Business Unit Controlling, among other positions related to compliance and project management during post-merger integrations. Simon's early career included a brief role at Hawker Pacific Aerospace as a Lean Project Team Member and participation in investor relations and treasury at ADVA Optical Networking. Academically, Simon holds a Master’s Degree in Anti-Corruption Studies from the International Anti-Corruption Academy and a Diploma in Business Administration and Technology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, alongside studies at Technical University of Munich and Thammasat University.
