Brian Burks

Brian Burks is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications and networking industries. Currently serving as a Global Account Director at Adtran since February 2023, Brian has held a similar position at ADVA Optical Networking since July 2008, where responsibilities include supporting the Western US in design and account development. Previous roles include positions at Cisco as a Customer Service Engineer, Director of Data Engineering at NewTERA, and Manager of Switched Data Services at Electric Lightwave. Brian began their career as a WAN Engineer at Intermountain Health Care and served in the United States Air Force as a Wideband Radio Relay specialist from April 1983 to October 1990.
