Brian Lown

Brian Lown has a strong background in engineering, with experience in various roles and companies. Brian started their career at Xilinx as an Applications Engineer in 1994. Brian then worked at Rockwell Collins as an FPGA/ASIC Designer from 1998 to 2000. Following that, they joined Tellabs as a Sr. Hardware Engineer from 2000 to 2002. Brian then moved to Radiant Systems, where they worked as a Sr. Hardware Engineer from 2002 to 2007. Currently, they are a Principal Engineer at ADVA Optical Networking, a position they have held since 2007.

Brian Lown pursued their education in the field of Electrical Engineering. Brian obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, where they attended from 1990 to 1994. Subsequently, Brian furthered their education by earning a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Iowa, attending from 1996 to 1998.
