Dave Graves

Dave Graves, PMP, currently serves as the Director of R&D Release Management at ADVA Optical Networking, overseeing the market launch of new products and updates for fiber optic systems since March 2016. Previously, Graves held various managerial roles, including Manager of ID Business Development at Crane Security Technologies, where responsibilities included developing new markets and managing product marketing, and Product Development Manager at Xiocom, where a product development process was established and implemented. Additional experience includes positions at DataPath, Inc. as Product Manager, where strategic direction for Wireless and Satcom communication products was established, and at Olympus Microsystems, Inc. managing the development of an optical switch product line. Graves also worked as Program Manager at LXE, leading development projects for WiFi radios, and as Product Manager at Scientific Atlanta, driving profitability for a significant product line. Graves holds a BS and MS in Physics from Southern Nazarene University and North Carolina State University, respectively.
