Gary Ray

Gary Ray has a strong background in the engineering field, with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Gary started their career with Raytheon in 1988 as an Engineer, where they worked until 1993. From 1993 to 1999, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Scientific Research Corporation. In 1999, they moved to Lucent Technologies as an MTS, and in 2000, they joined Nortel as a Senior Engineer. In 2001, they joined Movaz Networks as an MTS and worked there until 2006. From 2006 to 2010, they worked at Ciena as a Principal Engineer, and since 2010, they have been employed at Adva Optical Networking, initially as a Principal Engineer and currently as a Senior Principal Engineer.

Gary Ray completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree at North Carolina State University from 1984 to 1987. Following this, they pursued further education at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) degree specializing in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Telecommunications. This degree was earned between the years 1996 and 2001.
