Thomas Edinger

Thomas Edinger is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and software development within the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Project Management R&D at ADVA Optical Networking since September 2012, Thomas has previously held significant roles at Nokia Siemens Networks and Siemens AG, managing projects related to optical network elements and software development. Thomas’s expertise includes budget and schedule management, hardware, software, and optics development, as well as system testing and production ramp-up. With a strong foundation in embedded systems and networking protocols, Thomas began a career in software engineering and system analysis at MicroNova electronic GmbH and EADS, following a Diplom in Informatik from the Technical University of Munich.
