Justin Klein

Justin Klein, MD, JD, is a co-founder and managing partner at Vensana Capital since December 2018. Klein currently serves as a board member at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and on the board of visitors at Duke University School of Medicine. Additional board memberships include AdvaMed Accel and the Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA). Advisory responsibilities are held at the Johns Hopkins Center for Bioengineering Innovation & Design. Previously, Klein was a trustee at Virginia Commonwealth University’s College of Engineering from July 2019 to June 2023 and a partner at New Enterprise Associates from May 2006 to December 2018. Klein holds an MD from Duke University School of Medicine, a JD from Harvard Law School, an AB in Economics, and a BS in Biological Anthropology & Anatomy, both from Duke University.
