Yi Kong

Yi Kong, PhD, serves as Vice President and General Manager for QIAGEN in Greater China, overseeing a business exceeding $100 million and managing a diverse team of 300 employees across R&D, manufacturing, sales, marketing, service, supply chain, and regulatory functions. Additionally, Yi Kong holds positions as a Board Member and Executive Committee Member for the China Chapter at AdvaMed and as a Mentor & Ambassador for the University of Pennsylvania, guiding current PhD students and interviewing undergraduate applicants. Previous roles include Senior Director at Danaher Corporation, where responsibilities encompassed product management and marketing strategies, and various leadership positions at QIAGEN, Agilent Technologies, Gilead Sciences, GSK, and The Boston Consulting Group, with expertise in molecular diagnostics, commercial strategy, and business development.
