Our leadership team reflects that journey.

Our Managing Director Chris Motton began his career at Advance Computing as a trainee, learning the foundations of IT by fixing computers and supporting clients. More than 20 years later, he now helps businesses use technology strategically to support growth, efficiency, and long term success.
Mark Schumann is the Director and Head of Software Development, he also plays a key role in bridging the gap between systems and business needs. With 27 years at Advance Computing, this milestone represents not only loyalty, but deep practical experience in building software solutions that solve real business problems. He is passionate about creating systems that work together seamlessly and deliver tangible outcomes. 

Aaron Gill our Director and Head of Client Services has followed a similar path. Starting as a trainee and growing with the business over 17 years, he combines strong technical knowledge with a clear understanding of what organisations need to run successfully. This blend of hands on experience and client insight ensures our solutions are both practical and commercially sound. 

Advance Computing is proud to have a team with many long serving staff, some with more than 10 years with the business. At the same time, we are committed to developing the next generation of IT professionals, welcoming new trainees and supporting them as they grow and progress through their careers.
