Sharon McClements

Sharon McClements is an experienced academic and professional in the field of Quantity Surveying. Currently serving as an External Examiner at both The University of Salford and Liverpool John Moores University since 2020, McClements has been a Lecturer in Quantity Surveying at the University of Ulster since 2004, specializing in the BSc. Hons Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management program as well as the MSc. In addition to academic roles, McClements has been involved with the RICS since 2006, holding significant positions such as Chairperson of the NI Board and various roles as an assessor, mentor, and non-executive board member. McClements contributes to the built environment sector as a Civic Ambassador for the Ministerial Advisory Group and an Expert Advisor for RICS ISurv. McClements holds a Ph.D. in construction consultant selection from the University of Ulster, alongside a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Practice and a BSc. Hons in Quantity Surveying.
