Tom Davidson

Tom Davidson serves as the Director of Allied Health Professionals at the University of Cumbria, providing strategic leadership across a diverse portfolio that includes diagnostic radiography, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and paramedicine. With extensive experience in paramedic education, Tom has held several key academic roles, including Associate Professor in Paramedicine and founding Director of the Centre of Excellence in Paramedic Practice, which supports over 3,300 learners annually. Recognized for strategic leadership and impactful knowledge exchange, Tom has contributed to the development of the UK's first military paramedic undergraduate programme and continues to engage professionally with numerous organizations including the Association for Simulated Practice in Healthcare and Advance HE. Tom's academic background includes a PhD in eResearch and Technology Enhanced Learning from Lancaster University and multiple qualifications in paramedic education and higher education.
