James Szaras

James Szaras is an experienced cybersecurity and technology professional currently serving as the Director of Cybersecurity at ADVANCE2000 since August 2024. Previously, James held various leadership roles at Advance2000 Inc from January 2016 to July 2024, including Director of Service and Support, where oversight of operations related to core product offerings and client support was a key responsibility. James also contributed as a Technical Liaison on the CTO Team, leading a committee focused on researching and implementing new technologies. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Voice and Data Systems Engineer, managing large client projects, and serving as a Technical Support Specialist at Client Logic Inc. James earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Communication and Media Studies from the University at Buffalo between 1998 and 2001.
