Chris Hetlinger is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in the biomedical field. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Consultant at Advanced Bionics since April 2012, Chris previously held the position of Manager of Software Engineering at the Alfred Mann Foundation from May 2005 to March 2012, where multiple applications for biomedical products were designed and developed. Chris began a long tenure at Advanced Bionics in November 1987, culminating as a Senior Principal Software Engineer, and was instrumental in creating software for neural stimulation devices aimed at aiding individuals with profound deafness. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Software Engineer at Bell Microsensor, where a test suite for a differential pressure sensor was developed. Chris holds a Master's and PhD in Plasma Physics from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from UC Santa Barbara.
