Advanced Coating Technology Ltd. Is the company that Pat Gaynor set up in 1995 (www.advancedcoatings.ie) and it is Ireland’s number one Irish-owned company supplying protective and industrial paint to machinery manufacturers, engineering companies, fabricators and paint shops nationwide.

Pat and Mary Gaynor met in Dulux Paints (then HGW) Laboratory in Cork in 1979 and fell in love over a tin of high gloss trim paint!

They had two children, Aaron and Kate, who now run the paint business from its Hub in Carlow Aaron and Kate are both passionate about paint and have both travelled to the UK on a number of occasions to study paint (surprisingly interesting!). Aaron works as the companies Paint Inspector (so if you have a particularly difficult query it will go to him) and Kate works as the company’s Managing Director.
