Matthew Shaffer

Matthew Shaffer has extensive work experience in engineering and robotics. Their most recent position was at Advanced Construction Robotics as the Lead Electrical Engineer, where they utilized robotics and artificial intelligence to innovate and commercialize autonomous products for the construction industry. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Hardware Engineer at Netronome, leading the design and validation of network interface cards. Prior to that, they held a role as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Innovative Controls Inc. in 2013 and at RE2 from 2008 to 2013. Matthew began their career as an Electrical Engineer at Ibis Tek in 2006 and also gained experience as an Engineer at Applied Perception Inc. from 2004 to 2006. Matthew started their professional journey as an Intern at RedZone Robotics in 2003.

Matthew Shaffer attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering Technology. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2002, they also obtained an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from the same institution.
