Phillip Smith

Phillip Smith has a diverse and extensive work experience. Phillip is currently serving as the Senior Director of Litigation and Compliance at Advanced Energy since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at GE Aviation where they held various positions. From February 2022 to July 2022, they were the Executive Counsel of Litigation, and from February 2019 to January 2022, they served as the Chief Compliance Counsel. Before these roles, from February 2015 to February 2019, they worked as an Executive Counsel of Litigation at GE Aviation. Mr. Smith's career also includes a role as Counsel of Litigation and Preventive Law from February 2011 to February 2015. Phillip began their career at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP in 1994 as an Associate, and later became a Partner from January 2002 to February 2011.

Phillip Smith earned their B.A. Summa Cum Laude degree in Economics and Political Science from Miami University in 1991. Phillip then pursued their J.D. degree in Law at the University of Michigan Law School, completing it in 1993.
