About Advanced Functional Medicine

We are a successful group of three clinics (San Diego, Los Angeles and Orange County) that practice Functional Medicine.

Using the latest diagnostic technologies and insight; Functional Medicine addresses the underlying cause of your disease as opposed to using multiple medications to simply mask or manage your symptoms or pain.

Quite simply, we correlate our success directly with our patients' long-term good health and, ultimately, quality of life.

We strongly believe in highly personalized care that focuses and addresses your unique set of health issues and concerns.

It's an approach that engages both patient and practitioner in a genuine therapeutic partnership – It is an evolution of the practice of medicine - one that better understands and treats the healthcare needs of the 21st century.

By shifting our focus from the symptomatic, disease-centered, reactive focus of a generalized medical practice to an holistic, patient-centered and pro-active approach – we treat you, the person, as a whole – you are so much more than an isolated set of symptoms.
