Chad Mason

Chad Mason is the CEO and founder of Advanced Ionics, a company that specializes in fuel cell development. Prior to founding Advanced Ionics, Mason worked as a fuel cell development engineer for General Motors from September 2015 to March 2017. Chad was also a research associate at TUM CREATE from January 2013 to December 2014, where they led the sodium-ion battery materials project. In addition, Mason has worked as a research engineer for the National University of Singapore from January 2011 to December 2012, where they researched and developed lithium and sodium ion batteries. Lastly, they worked as a graduate researcher at Arizona State University from August 2008 to May 2010.

Chad Mason has an MS in Engineering Technology from Arizona State University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from North Dakota State University.
