Goellner Willy is a Chicago-based carbide saw metal cutting specialist, innovator, and entrepreneur who immigrated from Germany in 1958. In 1966, they founded Advanced Machine & Engineering Co. and have since served as Chairman while also holding the same title at Hennig Inc., which they co-founded in 1977. Notably, in 1969, Goellner developed the first-ever carbide production saw to cut steel billets, earning three patents in the metal-cutting field. They are dedicated to mentoring future leaders in the industrial sector as the Educational Director of their International Internship Program, focusing on the design and build of industrial machinery. Goellner holds an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Higher Technical College HTL Steyr, Austria, earned with honors in 1954.
