Barry Boyes possesses extensive experience in technology and research leadership within the fields of analytical biochemistry and biotechnology. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Advanced Materials Technology since August 2009, Barry is responsible for identifying strategic opportunities and fostering collaborative relationships. In parallel roles, Barry has contributed as Chief Scientific Officer at GlycoScientific and holds visiting scientist and adjunct professor positions at CCRC/UGA, where educational efforts focus on separations in biochemistry. A solid background includes influential roles at Smiths Detection and Agilent Technologies, where Barry led product development related to biological threat detection and oversaw R&D for various life science applications. Holding a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from The University of British Columbia and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Alberta, Barry combines comprehensive academic knowledge with significant practical expertise in the biopharmaceutical sector.
