Abbas Mir

Abbas Mir is a Senior MTS at AMD, focusing on the verification of high-performance Universal Memory Controllers. Previously, they held positions as a Principal Connectivity MAC/PHY Engineer at OPPO and a Senior DV Consultant at Microsoft, where they contributed to various ASIC verification projects, including graphics processors and Wi-Fi architecture. Abbas has extensive experience in system Verilog, UVM, and the verification of ASICs across multiple industries, supporting innovations in connectivity and digital design. They earned a B. Eng in Computer Engineering from Concordia University, where they also worked as a Research Assistant on assertion-based verification tools.
