Alan Smith

Alan Smith is a Senior Fellow and Chief Architect for Instinct SOC at AMD, specializing in product and SoC architecture to support high-performance computing and machine learning accelerated computing. With over two decades of experience at AMD, they focus on the design and architecture of SoCs, NoCs, and multi-processor memory subsystems. Prior to their current role, Alan served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Alan holds a BS in Microelectronics and an MS in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
