Ali M. is an accomplished Fellow SoC Thermal & Power Architect at AMD, with extensive experience in thermal design and optimization for system-on-chip (SoC) technologies. Since joining AMD in December 2018, Ali has led advancements in thermal, power, and performance strategies for adaptive and AI applications. Prior roles include significant contributions as a SoC Thermal Architect at Qualcomm and multiple positions at AMD, focusing on power and thermal management across various computing systems. Ali's early career included a postdoctoral fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where research centered on the effects of type-II diabetes on pulmonary function. With advanced degrees in Mechanical and BioEngineering from Southern Methodist University and Mechanical Engineering from Eastern Mediterranean University, Ali has also held teaching positions, enhancing academic knowledge in thermal-fluids and thermodynamics.
