Andy Hull is an accomplished engineer specializing in silicon design, with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as SMTS Silicon Design GFXIP at AMD since October 2019, Hull previously held significant roles at Netronome, including Principal and Lead Silicon Design Engineer, where responsibilities focused on the Memory Unit and system integration for memory and caching systems. Prior to that, Hull worked at Avaya as a Senior Hardware Designer, contributing expertise in FPGA/ASIC design for networking equipment, and at Nortel Networks and Samsung Telecommunications in various senior hardware engineering positions, gaining proficiency in Verilog, VHDL, and Linux. Hull earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from U-Mass, completing the degree in 1998.
