Ben Levinsky

Ben Levinsky is a Senior Software Engineer at AMD since March 2022, contributing to the Linux kernel, updating the ZynqMP Mailbox driver for Versal-based SoCs, and streamlining the code structure of the Libmetal Repository. Notable achievements include co-maintaining the OpenAMP organization on GitHub, developing the Remoteproc Linux kernel driver for managing ARM R52 processors, and extending support for communication channels in the Lopper repository. Previously, Ben worked at Xilinx from January 2017 to March 2022, re-architecting the Remoteproc R5 kernel driver and enhancing platform management for Xilinx Versal SoCs. Earlier experience includes intern positions at FIS Mobile and Sonoma Technology, along with a role as a Student Lab Assistant at Sonoma State University, where Ben received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics.
