Christopher Lukas is a digital circuit designer and system architect specializing in ultra-low power SoCs that operate on energy harvested from the environment. Currently a Senior Member of Technical Staff as a Silicon Design Engineer at AMD, Christopher previously served as a Senior Staff Engineer and Digital Manager at Everactive, where they developed a groundbreaking 3rd generation SoC achieving a power floor of just 2µW. They earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering along with a Nuclear Engineering Certificate from the University of Pittsburgh, followed by a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia. Christopher’s expertise extends to leading chip integration and designing energy-aware digital subsystems while successfully managing teams and improving design processes.
