David King

David King serves as the Director of Foundry Technology Validation at AMD, where responsibilities include leading a team focused on pre-production silicon learning and driving node development with foundry partners since September 2013. Prior to this role, David held various positions at Texas Instruments, Inc., including Functional Manager of Product Engineering, where data-driven strategies were implemented to enhance qualification time and product reliability, and Section Manager of Product Development Engineering, managing teams in product integration and process development. Earlier experiences at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. involved managing engineering teams focused on yield improvement and defect analysis. David also holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from SMU Cox School of Business and a BSChE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida.
