Doug Ray

Doug Ray is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and product development, currently serving as Senior Director of Client Systems Engineering at AMD since 1988. Ray's expertise encompasses premium platform joint innovation, full life-cycle commercial development, and systems engineering program management. With a proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and overseeing high-impact cost optimization projects, Ray also has significant experience in hardware infrastructure and new product introduction labs. Prior to AMD, Ray worked at Honeywell from 1984 to 1988, where key contributions included high-speed CMOS gate array development for advanced supercomputing systems. Doug Ray holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Microelectronics from Texas A&M University.
