Febin Sunny

Febin Sunny is a Performance Architect with AMD AIG, currently focusing on hardware-software co-design for silicon photonic AI accelerators. They earned a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Colorado State University, where their research centered on Photonic ML inference accelerator design and optimization. Febin has diverse experience across various roles, including as a Research Co-op Engineer and Systems Engineer at AMD and Infosys, respectively. They have also contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Colorado State University, encompassing work on embedded systems and high-performance computing. Prior to their academic pursuits, Febin held an Embedded Software Engineer position at Danlaw Inc., where they developed automotive electronics solutions.
