George Markomanolis is currently a Principal Member of Technical Staff at AMD, where they prepare for current and future GPU technologies. Previously, they held various engineering and computational roles at renowned institutions, including serving as an HPC Engineer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and a Computational Scientist at KAUST Supercomputing Laboratory. George earned a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Ioannina, followed by an MSc in Computational Science from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, and a PhD in Computer Science from École normale supérieure de Lyon.
