Georges Akis

Georges Akis is a Corporate Vice President of Silicon Design Engineering at AMD, a position held since 2023. Prior to this role, they served as Vice President of ASIC Engineering at Pensando Systems from 2017 to 2022, which was acquired by AMD. They also held various leadership positions at Cisco from 2011 to 2016, including Senior Director of ASIC Engineering and positions at Nuova Systems and Andiamo Systems, both acquired by Cisco. Georges earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University between 1990 and 1994.
