Gitu Jain

Gitu Jain is currently a Principal Member of Technical Staff at AMD, where they focus on parallel and distributed computing. They hold a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Iowa, specializing in parallel and distributed techniques for NP-hard EDA algorithms. Jain has previously worked at Xilinx and Synopsys, contributing to algorithm design and implementation while also driving multicore initiatives. Additionally, Gitu served as an instructor at UCSC Extension, teaching courses in multicore programming and object-oriented analysis and design. They co-authored a book on "Real World Multicore Embedded Systems" in 2013.
