Jack Garbus is a PhD in computer science with research experience at Sandia National Laboratories and industry experience at AMD. Currently, Jack works as an AI Performance Engineer at AMD, where they design visualizations for performance data and benchmark LLM inference libraries. Previously, they contributed to a project at the Cognitive and Immersive Systems Lab and gained practical IT skills as an intern at LHRIC. Jack's diverse experiences also include working on a farm through the WWOOF program. They hold a degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
