James Mutumba

James Mutumba is a Senior Design Verification Engineer at AMD, where they are actively involved in the advancement of next-generation SoCs and FPGAs. They previously held positions at AMD as a Design Verification Engineer and at EDA Solutions Limited as an Application Engineer, where they supported Siemens EDA tools. Before transitioning to engineering, James worked in retail as a Supervisor at Primark and as a Store Sales Executive for REL Field Marketing. They also served as a CAD Technician at Satius Consults. James earned a Master of Engineering in Electronics Engineering with First Class Honours from the University of Surrey. Additionally, they are a STEM Ambassador, dedicated to inspiring underrepresented individuals in STEM fields.
