Jamin Islam

Jamin Islam is a Senior Software Development Manager at AMD since April 2011, overseeing the development and execution of Platform Security Firmware and Software for various GPU platforms, including Radeon Instinct and Ryzen APUs. With a strong background in software engineering and project management, Jamin has held roles ranging from Program Manager to Senior Software Development Engineer, focusing on content protection and security firmware for high-performance computing systems. Prior experience includes a Design Engineer position at Unique Broadband Systems, where Jamin implemented scalable modules and contributed to DVB-SH transmission standards, alongside research assistant roles at Toronto Metropolitan University and the University of Toronto, culminating in a Master of Applied Science degree in Computer Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering.
