Jared Bowden

Jared Bowden, PhD, is a senior member of the technical staff at AMD, specializing in the performance of GPU accelerated AI models, with notable recognition including the 2024 Spotlight award for work on the MI325X AI launch performance. Previously, Jared served as the Vice President of Research and Development at Senseye, Inc., where oversight included technical vision and team management in the field of computational neuroscience. Earlier career roles included data scientist positions at Qcue, Inc., and Adlucent, as well as various academic positions at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on neuroscience research and education. Jared holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Otago, where prior research contributed to understanding cellular mechanisms of memory formation.
