John Maddux

John Maddux is a Silicon Design Engineer at AMD, where they leverage their extensive background in software and hardware development. They began their career at Intel, contributing to high-speed serial IO interfaces and later transitioned into roles focused on firmware architecture for non-volatile memory and FPGA products. Over the years, John led cross-functional teams to successfully develop and validate complex firmware solutions. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and enjoy cycling and woodworking in their free time.
