Kenneth Wright

Kenneth Wright is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and management. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Systems Engineering at AMD since November 2019, Kenneth leads a global team of over 100 engineers across multiple domains, overseeing performance validation, firmware optimization, customer support, and technical program management for data center operations. Prior to AMD, Kenneth held senior leadership roles at Rambus, managing complex research initiatives and teams, and at IBM, where contributions included leading memory subsystem development and post-silicon validation for POWER processors. Kenneth earned a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University.
