Lawrence Llave

Lawrence Llave is an experienced Sr Systems Design Engineer at AMD, leading Datacenter GPU PCIe 5.0 validation since July 2015. Previously, Lawrence served as Systems Design Engineer 2 and Systems Design Engineer 1, where key contributions included leading USBC hardware validation for discrete GPUs and achieving industry-first USB-IF certification on USB 3. As a Software QA Technologist at AMD, critical work involved multimedia software quality assurance for the AMD Catalyst Control Centre, where test cases were developed and automated, enhancing testing efficiency and ensuring timely issue resolution. Lawrence's career includes roles at CDI Computer Dealers Inc. and Qualcomm, and earlier experience as a Silicon Validation Technologist at AMD.
