Matthew Border

Matthew Border is currently a Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) Silicon Design Engineer at AMD, where they lead a team of RTL design engineers focused on microprocessor subsystem design within the Security IP organization. Previously, Matthew served as a Member of Technical Staff (MTS) Silicon Design Engineer at AMD, where they contributed to the implementation of microcontroller subsystems and led evaluations for future CPU configurations. In earlier roles, Matthew worked as a Systems Engineer at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories and a Test Technologist at Curtiss-Wright Nuclear Canada, applying their engineering skills across various projects. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Systems and Computing from the University of Guelph.
