Michael Scott is a Principal MTS SoC Architect at AMD, currently focused on designing custom SoCs. With a background as a Digital IC Design Engineer and Architect, they possess extensive experience in system tradeoffs, microarchitecture, RTL design, verification, synthesis, and static timing. Previously, Michael has worked in various roles, including Design Engineering Manager at Toshiba and Sr. Principal Design Engineer at STMicroelectronics, and has contributed to the development of MPEG set-top box decoders and solid-state disk controllers.
