Mohammad Ewais is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto while working as a ML/HPC Architect at AMD. Their research focuses on disaggregated memory architecture for datacenters, and at AMD, they design and architect datacenter GPUs for machine learning applications. With over four years of experience in ASIC/FPGA design and five years in computer architecture research, Mohammad has expertise in multiple computer architecture simulators and compiler development. Additionally, they have held teaching and research assistant positions at various universities, including the University of British Columbia and the German University in Cairo.
