Dr. Muhammad Usman is a MTS Silicon Design Engineer at AMD, where they focus on RF data converters, RFSoC validation, and signal/power integrity. They earned a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila in 2004, followed by an MSc and PhD in Radio Frequency Communication Engineering from the University of Bradford in 2005 and 2009, respectively. Dr. Usman has over nine years of teaching and research experience, having served as an Associate Professor at the University of Ha’il and a Senior Research Fellow at University College Dublin, where they published multiple research papers and received a best paper award. Their research interests encompass wireless communication technologies, 5G, O-RAN, IoT, and biomedical applications of RF engineering.
