Robert George is a Senior Fellow and SoC Architecture Lead at AMD, where since February 2013, Robert has served as the chief architect for Radeon System on Chip and discrete GPU architectures. Robert leads a team focused on defining the roadmap for next-generation GPU products, collaborating extensively across various teams to ensure performance optimization. Previously, as a Fellow in the Consoles/Semi-custom Business Unit at AMD, Robert was instrumental in architecting the APUs for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Prior to AMD, Robert was a Principal Architect at NVIDIA, where contributions included front-end architecture for the Maxwell SM and leading Tesla systems architecture. Robert began a career at Intel Corp as a Senior Staff Architect, specializing in virtual machine architecture. Robert holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech.
