Sean Chen

Sean Chen is an experienced software development manager with a strong background in FPGA and high-level synthesis tools. Currently serving as a Senior Software Development Manager at AMD since February 2022, Sean previously held the same title at Xilinx and Falcon Computing Solutions, focusing on system-level synthesis, compilation tools, and heterogeneous computing platforms. Sean's career began as a Software Engineer at AutoESL, a start-up acquired by Xilinx, where responsibilities involved developing high-level synthesis tools from C/C++ to RTL. Sean holds a Master of Science in Computer Architecture from Peking University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
