Stephen Kopec

Stephen Kopec has extensive experience in digital design engineering, particularly within the datacenter sector. Currently serving as a North America Datacenter FAE Manager and Field Applications Engineer at AMD since February 2022, Stephen previously held similar managerial and engineering roles at Xilinx from October 2012 to February 2022, and at Exelis (now part of Harris Corporation) from November 2011 to October 2012. Stephen's career began at ITT, where a tenure spanning over a decade included roles as a Principal Member of Technical Staff and Digital Design Engineer. Earlier experience also includes work as a Digital Design Engineer at Kearfott Guidance and Navigation. Stephen holds an MS in Computer Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, complemented by a Green Belt Certification in Value Based Six Sigma from the University of Michigan, and a BS in Computer Engineering from the same institution. Expertise encompasses FPGA design using various technologies including Xilinx, Altera, Actel, and Lattice.
