Stuart Hoad

Stuart Hoad is a highly experienced technical professional currently serving as Technical Director at AMD since January 2024. Previously, Stuart was the Founding Director at Deep Cove Research from March 2020 to January 2024, focusing on advanced concepts in design and formal methods for processor-based systems. Prior roles include Senior Principal Architect at Microsemi Corporation, where Stuart contributed to corporate processor strategy and architecture, and leadership positions at PMC-Sierra, ARM, and other esteemed organizations. Stuart's educational background includes a BSc (Hons) in Electronics Computer and Systems Engineering from Loughborough University, a PGCert in VLSI Design from the University of Westminster, and ongoing PhD studies at Simon Fraser University.
